About The Customer
Acushnet is a recognized leader in the golf industry, being the home of Titleist and FootJoy. The company's history in the golf industry dates back to 1932, and today, they are the steward of two of the most revered brands in golf. Acushnet is a global company with teams and partners across continents, all of whom rely on brand and marketing assets to promote and sell Acushnet products. The company needed a simpler, more effective way to manage and share marketing content across their portfolio of brands.
The Challenge
Acushnet, a global leader in the golf industry, faced a significant challenge in managing and sharing marketing content across their portfolio of brands. The company, which is the steward of revered brands like Titleist and FootJoy, had teams and partners spread across continents. These stakeholders relied heavily on brand and marketing assets to promote and sell Acushnet products. However, without a centralized location to manage all of this content, assets were scattered across numerous tools and devices. This lack of organization made it difficult to maintain brand consistency and effectively distribute marketing materials.
The Solution
To address this challenge, Acushnet implemented Acquia DAM (Widen) in 2016, after researching and comparing various digital asset management vendors. Acquia DAM provided a single, centralized location for secure access to marketing content by both internal teams and external partners. This included regional teams who needed to modify creative assets for their local markets. The system's robust security settings, including asset groups and user roles, allowed for control over the assets that each user could access. Acushnet also utilized the Portals application in Acquia DAM to streamline content distribution to specific audiences. This allowed them to share a select number of assets in a branded microsite, simplifying the process of sharing content for campaigns or product launches. Additionally, the Insights app in Acquia DAM provided valuable analytics on system utilization, supporting risk management.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
