Crosscard is a fintech startup based in Luxemburg. The company's Sales Operations and Enablement team, led by Sidd Hora, is responsible for creating processes and efficiencies across the sales team. The team's responsibilities include speeding up onboarding time, improving sales response time, and shortening sales cycles. Sidd, a self-proclaimed productivity hacker, has automated more than 180 daily tasks for his sales team. The team uses Guru as their knowledge base, and Sidd is in the process of implementing Scribe across other teams in the organization.
The Challenge
Crosscard, a fintech startup based in Luxemburg, faced a significant challenge in its Sales Operations and Enablement department. Sidd Hora, the manager of this department, was spending a considerable amount of his time manually documenting important processes for his sales team. This was not only a slow and tedious process but also resulted in inconsistent formatting in their Guru knowledge base. The inconsistency made it difficult for the sales team to access and utilize the information effectively. Furthermore, the manual process of creating and annotating documents, then pasting them into Confluence, was inefficient and time-consuming. The challenge was to find a solution that could automate this process, improve consistency, and enhance the overall productivity of the sales team.
The Solution
The solution to Crosscard's challenge came in the form of Scribe, a tool that automates process documentation. Sidd started using Scribe to create and embed process documents directly into the Guru knowledge base. Instead of manually creating and annotating documents, Sidd could now simply turn on the Scribe recorder and complete his process. Scribe would then instantly produce a document with the necessary screenshots, annotations, and text. Furthermore, Scribe's Smart Embed feature allowed Sidd to build a guide with Scribe and then embed the Scribe directly into a Guru card. This not only created consistency in the knowledge base but also made it easier for the sales team to access the information they needed. Sidd is now in the process of implementing Scribe across other teams in the organization and also uses it to build documentation for customers.
