About The Customer
QuadScore is a specialty risk program founded in 2018 with the purpose of providing comprehensive insurance solutions for the booming American cannabis industry. Their Executive Team has a combined 80 years of experience in a variety of industry sectors. QuadScore is the cannabis industry’s leading insurance program, boasting an account portfolio which includes many of the largest Multistate Operators.
The Challenge
QuadScore, a specialty risk program providing insurance solutions for the American cannabis industry, faced a significant challenge when one of their customers was involved in a fatal auto accident. The company needed video footage to prove their client was not at fault. Additionally, QuadScore was grappling with high auto premiums due to increased claim costs and an unsatisfactory risk profile of clients.
The Solution
Azuga Fleet, a leading provider of connected vehicle and fleet technologies, provided QuadScore with dashcam footage from the stored database of the accident. This evidence helped police determine that the party was not at fault, saving QuadScore from potential forensic accident reconstruction costs and a potential $1MM claim that would have led to hundreds of thousands in future auto premiums. As a result of this incident, QuadScore began requiring dash cameras for each of their auto clients to absolve their clients of claims in which they are not at fault and have claims adjusted as quickly as possible based on video evidence.

Vehicle Fleet Analytics
Organizations frequently implement a maintenance strategy for their fleets of vehicles using a combination of time and usage based maintenance schedules. While effective as a whole, time and usage based schedules do not take into account driving patterns, environmental factors, and sensors currently deployed within the vehicle measuring crank voltage, ignition voltage, and acceleration, all of which have a significant influence on the overall health of the vehicle. In a typical fleet, a large percentage of road calls are related to electrical failure, with battery failure being a common cause. Battery failures result in unmet service agreement levels and costly re-adjustment of scheduled to provide replacement vehicles. To reduce the impact of unplanned maintenance, the transportation logistics company was interested in a trial of C3 Vehicle Fleet Analytics.
