About The Customer
Atlantia Holdings, established in 2002, is a Canadian wholesale manufacturer and distributor of digital accessories. The company operates multiple digital storefronts with Shopify to manage different types of orders and serve its trading partners comprehensively. Atlantia decided to replace their legacy ERP system with NetSuite for its ability to integrate with EDI, multiple web stores, and iQmetrix. They partnered with Deloitte to lead a digital transformation for the business, implementing NetSuite and re-instituting a unified integration model across Atlantia’s core systems.
The Challenge
Atlantia Holdings, a Canadian wholesale manufacturer and distributor of digital accessories, was facing significant challenges with their legacy ERP system. The system was prone to crashes, failed to consistently bring in orders from their multiple websites, and lacked API connectivity capabilities. To address these issues, Atlantia decided to replace their legacy system with NetSuite, known for its ability to integrate with EDI, multiple web stores, and iQmetrix. However, the initial integration provider they chose to connect their Shopify webstore with NetSuite was unable to sync product information correctly between the systems. With a looming go-live deadline, Atlantia selected Deloitte for their extensive implementation and integration expertise to quickly implement a reliable iPaaS solution.
The Solution
Deloitte and Atlantia evaluated multiple integration providers before selecting Celigo for its comprehensive solution and expertise with integrating NetSuite. The Deloitte team immediately began integrating Shopify and iQmetrix with NetSuite using Celigo. They used Celigo’s pre-built Shopify-NetSuite Integration App to integrate Atlantia’s various storefronts running on Shopify, which addressed all of Atlantia's use cases. For the iQmetrix-NetSuite integration, Deloitte developed custom integration flows with Celigo’s Integrator.io iPaaS platform. Despite joining the project late, Celigo's implementation was efficient and smooth, enhancing time-to-value. Atlantia, without a permanent IT team, leverages Celigo to maintain their integrations, with a member of their marketing team checking for errors to ensure smooth operations.
Operational Impact
  • The collaboration between Deloitte and Celigo enabled Atlantia to quickly implement and integrate their new ERP system across their digital transformation. Today, orders from Atlantia’s multiple storefronts are centrally managed within the value chain, enhancing efficiency and saving time. The in-house maintenance of integrations, rather than outsourcing technical work, has significantly increased the return on investment from Celigo. This has allowed Atlantia to focus on mission-critical initiatives for the entire company, without having to worry about closing the books at the end of the quarter.
Quantitative Benefit
  • Efficient and smooth implementation of the new ERP system
  • Increased return on investment from maintaining integrations in-house
  • Successful integration of multiple storefronts running on Shopify with NetSuite
