About The Customer
Core Group is a consumer technology retailer that needed to integrate its ERP system with an international consumer electronics supplier's APIs to provide the required customer service. The company uses the SYSPRO ERP system and was initially considering a bespoke integration solution. However, the complexity of the integration project led them to seek a more flexible and agile solution. Core Group's CTO, Roey Saban, played a crucial role in the decision-making process, ultimately choosing Flowgear's integration Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS) for the task.
The Challenge
Core Group, a consumer technology retailer, was faced with the challenge of integrating its ERP system with an international consumer electronics supplier's APIs to provide the required customer service. The complexity of the integration project necessitated a solution beyond an out-of-the-box approach. Core Group's CTO, Roey Saban, initially considered a bespoke integration solution for their SYSPRO ERP system. However, during the investigation of middleware options, he was introduced to the Flowgear integration platform. Core Group then requested proposals from different vendors and system integrators, evaluating them based on several criteria.
The Solution
Flowgear's integration Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS) was chosen as the solution to Core Group's integration challenge. The decision was based on several factors. Firstly, Flowgear's integration platform eliminated the need for a customized integration and its SYSPRO connector supported the SYSPRO e.net Solutions integration interface. Secondly, Flowgear's library of application connectors and DropPoint technology provided greater flexibility and agility for integrating on-premise systems than other vendors and customized solutions. Lastly, as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) application, Flowgear allowed Core Group to budget for the integration as an operational expense. The visual and immediate nature of integration workflow development displayed by the Flowgear Console during a demonstration also made a significant impact.
