About The Customer
Credissimo EAD is a leading European FinTech Group, founded in 2007. It is one of the most dynamically developing structures in the non-banking financial sector, providing technology-driven digital consumer finance services to individuals. The company operates across several European and Latin American markets. Its innovative proprietary technology, combined with superior customer service, enables the company to deliver unmatched efficiencies and state-of-the-art consumer finance solutions. Credissimo constantly strives to push the technological boundaries to their limits in order to be at the innovation frontier of the FinTech industry.
The Challenge
Credissimo, a leading European FinTech Group, faced the challenge of securing the financial and personal data of its employees and customers. The company needed to pass annual financial audits and confirm compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ISO/IEC 27001. The task was complex and time-consuming, requiring a week to generate reports on security controls. The challenge was further compounded when GDPR came into effect, necessitating the hiring of a data protection officer (DPO) and the need for daily activity reports on changes to security group memberships and logons outside business hours.
The Solution
Credissimo opted for Netwrix Auditor, a cost-effective and user-friendly solution with features tailored for compliance, such as predefined reports and user activity monitoring. Netwrix Auditor provided visibility across all servers where sensitive data resided, enabling Credissimo to monitor changes and activities and promptly respond to file deletions, bulk copy operations, and other anomalous events. The solution also offered out-of-the-box compliance reports mapped to ISO/IEC 27001 controls, reducing the time taken to prepare for audits. With Netwrix Auditor, it now takes just one day to generate reports on security controls. The solution also provided daily reports on changes across Active Directory and Group Policy and alerts on critical ones, increasing the accountability of system administrators and enabling prompt action to avoid outages and service interruptions.

Improving Vending Machine Profitability with the Internet of Things (IoT)
The vending industry is undergoing a sea change, taking advantage of new technologies to go beyond just delivering snacks to creating a new retail location. Intelligent vending machines can be found in many public locations as well as company facilities, selling different types of goods and services, including even computer accessories, gold bars, tickets, and office supplies. With increasing sophistication, they may also provide time- and location-based data pertaining to sales, inventory, and customer preferences. But at the end of the day, vending machine operators know greater profitability is driven by higher sales and lower operating costs.

Revolutionizing Rodent Control
From pet- and child-safe traps, to touch-free and live-catch rodent control solutions, Victor continues to stay committed to producing superior products that meet the varying needs of today’s pest control professionals. And, with a long standing history supporting customers in the food processing, service, and retail settings, Victor knew that strict regulations were costing organizations thousands of dollars in excess overhead trying to manage their rodent-control solutions. Trap inspections in these environments are often difficult and time consuming, requiring personnel to manually check a trap’s status multiple times per day, amounting to over six hours of manual labor. Victor is looking for an innovative way to increase operational efficiencies with the use of technology.
