About The Customer
Location Accès Crédit is a Canadian company established in 2009 that offers financing services for a variety of vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, trucks, quads, snowmobiles, and ATVs. The company specializes in assisting individuals whose loan requests have been previously declined due to bankruptcy or voluntary filing, helping them rebuild their credit to become eligible for financing by credible financial institutions. Over the years, Location Accès Crédit has assisted over 12,000 clients to regain mobility, with 75% of these clients now doing business with traditional financial institutions. The company leverages its vast network of over 2,000 affiliated car dealers in Eastern Canada to service its growing clientele and currently employs 75 people.
The Challenge
Location Accès Crédit, a Canadian company offering financing services for on-road and recreational vehicles, was facing a significant challenge in maintaining high standards of efficiency and attention to detail among its employees. The absence of standard operating procedures and proper documentation was a major issue, especially as the company expanded. The lack of consistency in following work instructions was causing inefficiencies and damage to the company's operations. The president, Michel Coutu, was in search of a workflow software that could streamline their business processes and secure their business data, given the sensitive financial nature of their operations.
The Solution
The solution came in the form of SweetProcess, a software system that Michel discovered online. Despite initial skepticism about the software's security, Michel found that SweetProcess offered robust cloud-based security features that prevented unauthorized access. The software became a vital part of the organization, serving as a 'Holy Bible' for standardizing business process documentation. SweetProcess allowed all employees to participate in the documentation process, making it more effective and relevant to their tasks. The software also facilitated seamless employee onboarding and training, fast-tracking the process and equipping new employees with the knowledge they needed to function efficiently. Furthermore, SweetProcess enabled remote access to work documents, allowing employees to work from anywhere.

Integral Plant Maintenance
Mercedes-Benz and his partner GAZ chose Siemens to be its maintenance partner at a new engine plant in Yaroslavl, Russia. The new plant offers a capacity to manufacture diesel engines for the Russian market, for locally produced Sprinter Classic. In addition to engines for the local market, the Yaroslavl plant will also produce spare parts. Mercedes-Benz Russia and his partner needed a service partner in order to ensure the operation of these lines in a maintenance partnership arrangement. The challenges included coordinating the entire maintenance management operation, in particular inspections, corrective and predictive maintenance activities, and the optimizing spare parts management. Siemens developed a customized maintenance solution that includes all electronic and mechanical maintenance activities (Integral Plant Maintenance).

Monitoring of Pressure Pumps in Automotive Industry
A large German/American producer of auto parts uses high-pressure pumps to deburr machined parts as a part of its production and quality check process. They decided to monitor these pumps to make sure they work properly and that they can see any indications leading to a potential failure before it affects their process.
