About The Customer
eVidyaloka is a non-profit organization based in India, dedicated to transforming the educational landscape of rural areas. The organization creates digital classrooms for children in remote villages, with the support of local communities and volunteer teachers from around the world. They provide standardized lesson plans and teaching aids to help children from government schools receive quality education, aiming for a promising and rewarding future. eVidyaloka's vision is to create a knowledgeable and empowered rural India through quality education, and their goal is to provide education anywhere, anytime.
The Challenge
eVidyaloka faced a significant challenge due to the shortage of teachers in remote and rural villages in India. The organization aimed to create a single platform that could connect teachers and students across the country by leveraging technology. They sought to bring together volunteerism and technology to overcome this challenge. However, they needed a partner with the necessary technological expertise and experience to develop a scalable application that could support multiple users and features. eVidyaloka selected Datamatics for this task, given their proven expertise in the field.
The Solution
Datamatics developed a mobile platform for multiple personas, including students, parents, partner organizations, and volunteers. They also revamped the existing web app into a highly scalable, secure, and low-maintenance platform. The platform features a self-learning-enabled system training, class scheduling, and access to learning assets such as on-demand videos and textbooks. It also aids in demand forecasting to more accurately match students' needs and teachers' availability. Furthermore, Datamatics ensured a frictionless onboarding process and registration for volunteers, teachers, students, and schools, making the platform user-friendly and efficient.

Vodafone Hosted On AWS
Vodafone found that traffic for the applications peak during the four-month period when the international cricket season is at its height in Australia. During the 2011/2012 cricket season, 700,000 consumers downloaded the Cricket Live Australia application. Vodafone needed to be able to meet customer demand, but didn’t want to invest in additional resources that would be underutilized during cricket’s off-season.
