About The Customer
The primary customer for FreeFlo is the freelance community. Freelancers across various fields can benefit from the app's features, which are designed to optimize workflow, reduce non-billable hours, and enhance communication and transparency with clients. The app is particularly beneficial for freelancers who struggle with managing their time and tasks, and those who find it challenging to effectively communicate with their clients. By using FreeFlo, freelancers can increase their billable hours, improve their productivity, and provide a better service to their clients.
The Challenge
Freelancers often face challenges in standing out from competitors when applying for projects. The process of communicating with clients and managing their experiences can be time-consuming, non-transparent, and non-billable. On average, freelancers are only able to bill 53 percent of their time, with the remaining 47 percent being spent on non-billable operational tasks and administrative work. This imbalance in billable versus non-billable hours can significantly impact a freelancer's income and productivity. The challenge was to find a solution that could help freelancers optimize their workflow, reduce non-billable hours, and provide clear communication and transparency to their clients.
The Solution
FreeFlo, an app developed by Jason Trueblood, addresses these challenges by optimizing the workflow of freelancers and reducing their non-billable hours. The app allows freelancers to deliver a unique project dashboard to their clients, manage projects and milestones, request client reviews, and track their activity and progress. It also provides light project management and CRM functionality. The client dashboard feature enables freelancers to share their projects with their clients, including relevant information about the project’s files and the timeline of completion. This provides clients with an inside view of the project's details. FreeFlo's “request review" feature allows freelancers to quickly request project reviews and testimonials from their clients, further enhancing transparency and communication.
