About The Customer
Integrated Computing & Outsourcing Network Solutions (ICONS) Co. Ltd. is an IT solutions provider based in Trinidad & Tobago. The company helps a wide variety of businesses succeed by providing cost-effective core infrastructure, including all related support and services. ICONS makes recommendations to each customer based off what their existing infrastructure looks like, and then applies that knowledge to what type of migration should be used.
The Challenge
A group of companies serviced by ICONS had a large number of mailboxes using both Lotus Notes and Google Apps. In order to optimize their business operations, the group wanted to standardize to one email platform. When they approached Microsoft regarding this issue, the recommendation was to move everything to Office 365, which the group also saw as the best fit. However, the built-in tools offered by Office 365 that ICONS would typically use for such migrations were not able to handle multiple mailbox formats. To best serve their customers, ICONS realized there was now a need to select a mailbox migration solution for this project that could: Seamlessly migrate multiple email platforms to Office 365, Complete the process with zero user downtime, Avoid any manual configuration steps.
The Solution
Because the group of companies was comprised of such a diverse mix, the solution would also need to have an intuitive user interface and not be overly complicated to configure. The combination of all these factors led ICONS to select MigrationWiz, from BitTitan. ICONS found MigrationWiz to be an ideal match for what they needed out of a migration solution. It supports a wide variety of mailbox platforms, which made moving from Google Apps and Lotus Notes to Office 365 a seamless process. MigrationWiz stands out from the other solutions that ICONS evaluated because of this functionality, along with its ability to run quietly in the background without affecting user productivity. ICONS also took advantage of the solution’s ability to seamlessly migrate: Documents, Public folders, PST/archives. MigrationWiz also keeps folder hierarchies intact, ensuring each company can hit the ground running once the project is complete.

Improving Production Line Efficiency with Ethernet Micro RTU Controller
Moxa was asked to provide a connectivity solution for one of the world's leading cosmetics companies. This multinational corporation, with retail presence in 130 countries, 23 global braches, and over 66,000 employees, sought to improve the efficiency of their production process by migrating from manual monitoring to an automatic productivity monitoring system. The production line was being monitored by ABB Real-TPI, a factory information system that offers data collection and analysis to improve plant efficiency. Due to software limitations, the customer needed an OPC server and a corresponding I/O solution to collect data from additional sensor devices for the Real-TPI system. The goal is to enable the factory information system to more thoroughly collect data from every corner of the production line. This will improve its ability to measure Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and translate into increased production efficiencies. System Requirements • Instant status updates while still consuming minimal bandwidth to relieve strain on limited factory networks • Interoperable with ABB Real-TPI • Small form factor appropriate for deployment where space is scarce • Remote software management and configuration to simplify operations
