About The Customer
iVision is a company that offers its customers fully managed “enterprise-class technology infrastructure, applications, and solutions.” They tailor each solution to an individual customer’s environment and business needs. The company is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. iVision's services are designed to help businesses manage their IT infrastructure more effectively and efficiently. They work with a variety of clients, managing infrastructures spread across multiple locations. Their goal is to provide high-quality service and maintain the highest level of compliance and standardization across customer infrastructure.
The Challenge
iVision, a provider of fully managed enterprise-class technology infrastructure, applications, and solutions, was facing a significant challenge with configuration changes. These changes accounted for a large number of performance-impacting events, especially considering they were dealing with co-managed infrastructures spread across multiple customer locations. Prior to using LM Config, iVision used a mix of vendor-specific and third-party configuration management tools to manage networking equipment and web servers. They needed a solution that would provide visibility into configuration changes and reduce the time spent on root-cause analysis during a disruption.
The Solution
iVision implemented LM Config to manage configuration changes and reduce the time spent on root-cause analysis during a disruption. LM Config is a tool that provides visibility into configuration changes, saving iVision valuable time during an outage and allowing them to maintain their high level of service. The tool is integrated with LogicMonitor, making it a flexible option for managing dynamic and distributed infrastructures. LM Config also helps iVision maintain compliance across customer infrastructure. When a customer makes a change in the field, LM Config quickly sends an alert so iVision can investigate and immediately restore back to their standards.

Vodafone Hosted On AWS
Vodafone found that traffic for the applications peak during the four-month period when the international cricket season is at its height in Australia. During the 2011/2012 cricket season, 700,000 consumers downloaded the Cricket Live Australia application. Vodafone needed to be able to meet customer demand, but didn’t want to invest in additional resources that would be underutilized during cricket’s off-season.
