About The Customer
LEARN Behavioral is a company that specializes in using evidence-based, contemporary applied behavior analysis (ABA) to deliver tailored treatment to the unique needs of individual children and young adults with autism. They personalize treatments with clinical insights refined through more than 20 years of serving the autism community, along with data and insights amassed from treating more than 20,000 clients. They provide individualized therapy across 18 states. The company has been in partnership with CD2 Learning since 2020.
The Challenge
LEARN Behavioral, a company specializing in personalized treatment for children and young adults with autism, faced two primary challenges. Firstly, they needed to scale onboarding for all employees across their 18-state operation. Secondly, they had to automate strict compliance requirements mandated within each of the states they serve. The company was seeking a robust and flexible solution that could deliver detailed reporting to various stakeholders who are regularly asked to respond to compliance audits. The unique requirements mandated by each state added another layer of complexity to the challenge.
The Solution
In partnership with CD2 Learning, LEARN Behavioral implemented a multi-layer organizational mapping solution. This involved mapping out a structure that split the site into three primary divisions, then sectioned those into territories, and then divided each of those into individual site locations. This structure provided reporting flexibility and training automation opportunities to adhere to each unique requirement. Additionally, LEARN Behavioral instructors utilized CD2 Learning’s course authoring tools to create employee onboarding and course templates that aligned to each of their core functional roles. These templates were then leveraged to build each of the state-specific onboarding packages. Using this strategy, they found that often 80% of the training was consistent. They were able to align to individual state requirements largely by editing what was already there, rather than build from scratch each time.
