About The Customer
New Media Retailer is a company that provides online solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. The company offers a range of services, including promotional tools for online marketing, local search engine optimization (SEO), website management, social media, email marketing, and e-commerce store management. With over 10 years of experience in the online business environment, New Media Retailer helps businesses focus on their core operations by taking care of their online marketing activities. The company has a workforce of 25 employees.
The Challenge
New Media Retailer, an online solutions company, was grappling with the fast-paced nature of the digital technology industry. The company was struggling to keep its employees updated with the latest trends and developments. The traditional method of documenting business processes and distributing them in print form to employees was proving ineffective, as the information would become obsolete within a week. Additionally, there was a significant knowledge gap between the in-office and remote employees, with the latter lacking access to certain information. These challenges were exacerbated as the company's remote workforce grew, necessitating a solution to ensure effective communication and knowledge distribution.
The Solution
To address these challenges, New Media Retailer adopted SweetProcess, a workflow management software solution. This tool simplified the documentation process by allowing the company to document their processes in the cloud. The system would notify them about updates, enabling them to easily update files instead of starting from scratch. SweetProcess also facilitated effective communication and knowledge distribution by providing a centralized database. This ensured that all employees, regardless of their location, had access to the same information. Furthermore, SweetProcess helped the company ensure quality assurance by providing a framework for replicating good performance consistently. Lastly, the tool empowered employees by providing them with a reference document containing all the necessary information for their tasks.
