The Solution
Vaibhav Thakkar developed an app called Find Plasma Donor to connect plasma donors with COVID-19 patients in India. The app, built on Bubble's no-code platform, allows potential donors and patients to register their details. The team behind the app then connects with the donors to check their eligibility and explain the process. If a doctor has prescribed plasma therapy for a patient, the patient or their relative can register on the website. The team reaches out to them within 8 minutes in 90% of cases, validates the authenticity, and shares the contact details of the relevant donor. The app was designed to be user-friendly and efficient, reducing the time it takes to connect donors and patients.
