About The Customer
Mobyquest is a leading provider of MMS based solutions for mobile communication channels such as text and multimedia messaging, push notification and payments. The company is headquartered in Montpellier, France and has been in operation for over 10 years. Through exclusive agreements with telecom operators, Mobyquest provides its customers, which include marketing agencies, web agencies, brands, and content publishers, with highly competitive pricing for MMS messaging. Despite their success, the company was facing challenges in determining the correct carrier for each phone number in its database, which was impacting their efficiency and increasing costs.
The Challenge
Mobyquest, a leading provider of MMS based solutions for mobile communication channels, was facing a significant challenge due to poor performance from past partners. The company needed a new communications API that could provide the most accurate phone number insight, with the lowest latency and cost. Despite having exclusive agreements with telecommunications operators, Mobyquest was struggling to determine the correct carrier for each phone number in its database. This was causing inefficiencies in their operations and increasing their overall communications costs.
The Solution
To address this challenge, Mobyquest partnered with Vonage and implemented the Vonage Number Insight API. This API provided the flexibility and scalability that Mobyquest needed to expand their business across the globe. The Vonage Number Insight API enabled Mobyquest to determine the type and carrier of every phone number in their database and receive phone number insights synchronously in real time. This eliminated latency issues and allowed Mobyquest to route its MMS and SMS messages to the correct carrier. By using Vonage’s Number Insight API, Mobyquest was able to achieve the most accurate information while maintaining the lowest costs.
