About The Customer
Myfreight is an innovative Australian freight management company that was launched as a start-up software business within their existing freight management business over five years ago. The company manages end-to-end supply chain and logistics using its proprietary award-winning cloud-based transport management system (TMS). Myfreight is based in Melbourne, Australia, and has offices in Sydney, Australia, and Auckland, New Zealand. The company was founded in 1991 and operates in the logistics and freight management industry.
The Challenge
Myfreight, an Australian freight management company, faced challenges with its transport management system (TMS). The system struggled to access real-time data from numerous sources, both internal and external, which hindered the company's ability to provide timely updates to customers regarding consignment status. The lack of agility in the available systems resulted in difficulties in customizing applications or adding new features to meet the demands of the growing customer base.
The Solution
To overcome the challenges, Myfreight integrated Domo as its dashboard system. Domo's environment provided real-time information to their customers, enabling self-service management of delivery-related functions like purchasing, tracking, analysis, and documentation. Using Domo’s scalable capabilities, Myfreight could relay large volumes of information at high speed to both transport carriers and freight senders in real-time. The platform could process over six million calculations in just seconds, serving up the best pricing and service options to customers and providers from the broadest range of sources available. Domo’s real-time data visibility and alert function also informed customers of potential issues or delays which could affect their costs and supply chain flow.

Vehicle Fleet Analytics
Organizations frequently implement a maintenance strategy for their fleets of vehicles using a combination of time and usage based maintenance schedules. While effective as a whole, time and usage based schedules do not take into account driving patterns, environmental factors, and sensors currently deployed within the vehicle measuring crank voltage, ignition voltage, and acceleration, all of which have a significant influence on the overall health of the vehicle. In a typical fleet, a large percentage of road calls are related to electrical failure, with battery failure being a common cause. Battery failures result in unmet service agreement levels and costly re-adjustment of scheduled to provide replacement vehicles. To reduce the impact of unplanned maintenance, the transportation logistics company was interested in a trial of C3 Vehicle Fleet Analytics.
