The app is also suitable for users who want the flexibility to change their itinerary and swap activities as needed. Pravvas is perfect for travelers who want a user-friendly app that provides a seamless travel planning experience.
The Challenge
Pravvas, a travel itinerary app, was founded by Sanup and Krishna Bhulawala, two product managers passionate about user experience. The challenge they faced was creating an app that not only allowed users to build a travel itinerary but also served as a personalized travel assistant. The app needed to provide features such as booking and viewing flights, finding activities, looking up places to eat, tracking trip expenses, auto-curating a packing list, checking the weather, and receiving travel and weather advisory alerts. The founders also wanted to ensure that the app was user-friendly and provided a seamless experience for travelers. Another challenge was finding a platform that offered the right balance of price, learning curve, and features to build their app.
The Solution
The founders chose Bubble, a no-code platform, to build their app. Bubble offered the right balance of price, learning curve, and features that the founders were looking for. The app works by allowing the user to enter their destination and dates, which then builds an itinerary for them. The itinerary includes the best flight option, but users can choose another flight option or change the timing if they already have tickets. Users can also choose activities from a variety of options and add them to their 'Want List'. This list holds all the activities and events that the user wants to do at their destination. Clicking on an item in the Want List adds it to the Itinerary, providing flexibility for swapping activities if needed. Saving their trip gives users access to a pre-created packing list, expense management, integrated weather, and more.
