The Challenge
KG Knutsson, a large family-owned company in Sweden, was facing challenges with its business performance due to lack of clear understanding of information in its Movex system. The lack of visibility was driving up inventory costs and undermining accounts receivable management. The company was spending too much time and energy to create reports. They needed a better control and an overview of the information in its Movex ERP system. They evaluated a number of different tools and chose QlikView.
The Solution
KG Knutsson deployed QlikView to 200 employees across 3 functional areas. With QlikView pulling data from a Movex system, KG Knutsson analyzes sales performance, accounts receivable, inventory and several other areas – all with a focus on improving the company’s profitability. With QlikView Server and Publisher, KG Knutsson can effectively manage security and visibility requirements while handling massive amounts of data. The QlikView applications have enabled each member of the sales teams to review and control their accounts in a much more detailed fashion. Today, they are able to check not only that the correct invoices have been sent out, but also that they are paid on time before shipping additional goods.
