Despite his academic commitments, Padula is dedicated to harnessing technology to automate and streamline the company's operations. The company has over 10 employees and contractors.
The Challenge
Rokstar Events, a premier event solutions company, was facing a challenge in managing its growing business while ensuring efficient communication. The CEO, Brandon Padula, who is also a full-time student at Drexel University, needed to automate as much as possible to juggle his dual roles. He wanted a solution that would work seamlessly with his iPhone, allowing him to manage his business on the go. The company was also dealing with the challenge of efficiently managing incoming calls and distributing leads among event managers. Furthermore, Padula wanted to track missed calls, voicemails, and customer contacts through integration with his custom-built customer management system.
The Solution
Rokstar Events turned to RingCentral's cloud phone service and mobile apps to streamline its business operations. The RingCentral API was integrated with Rokstar's business systems, making it a core part of the business. With the RingCentral cloud phone system, Padula was able to assign each of the event managers an extension that would ring to their mobile phones. This allowed for efficient distribution of incoming calls and leads. Contractors hired for specific events could also be assigned a temporary phone number, facilitating easy communication. Padula also creatively used the API to track missed calls, voicemails, and customer contacts through integration with his custom-built customer management system. This allowed him to see a log of missed calls without logging into RingCentral directly and perform a reverse lookup to match a phone number with an existing record in his customer database.
