About The Customer
ScanTracked is a SaaS platform that provides a solution for data capture and lookup. It allows users to create mobile-optimized forms with customizable fields for various purposes. Users can use the web interface to design the mobile form, choosing which fields they need to capture, upload any lookup data, and deploy the form to a mobile device within minutes. Some common applications amongst ScanTracked's customers include stocktaking forms, delivery sign on glass forms, auditing, and order picking. A number of customers use the solution to 'lookup' data, for example, to scan a product in their shop and have the mobile form return the price, or scan a person's ID at a restaurant to determine if they are in a VIP program or not.
The Challenge
ScanTracked, co-founded by Andrew Gurney and Anthony Thai, was facing challenges in scaling their business and providing a user-friendly platform for data capture and lookup. They needed a solution that would allow users to create mobile-optimized forms with customizable fields for various purposes such as stocktaking, order picking, and auditing. The founders had tried other no-code platforms but were unable to find success due to limitations in backend capabilities and web-based platform features. They needed a platform that could handle rich data management features and scale as their user base grew.
The Solution
The founders discovered Bubble, a no-code web app builder, and used it to create an app that gave users the freedom to scan barcodes and create forms for any number of purposes. Bubble's rich features around data management were critical to ScanTracked's platform. It allowed them to release the platform quickly and cost-effectively to begin gaining feedback. Bubble also provided the ability to scale the app as more users signed up, ensuring that users were not slowed down when capturing or looking up data. The ScanTracked platform is a SaaS solution where users can design the mobile form, upload any lookup data, and deploy the form to a mobile device within minutes.

Vodafone Hosted On AWS
Vodafone found that traffic for the applications peak during the four-month period when the international cricket season is at its height in Australia. During the 2011/2012 cricket season, 700,000 consumers downloaded the Cricket Live Australia application. Vodafone needed to be able to meet customer demand, but didn’t want to invest in additional resources that would be underutilized during cricket’s off-season.
