About The Customer
The customers of My Virtual Assistant are both individuals and corporate users who need help managing their administrative tasks online. These tasks can range from business invoicing, travel arrangements, to expense management. The users can set up their preferences to make booking and completing tasks as easy as possible. For example, they can set up airline preferences for travel arrangements. The users can easily submit tasks for their assistant to complete via the app or WhatsApp. The customers appreciate the service, finding it incredibly useful, and have given positive feedback on how the user-assistant relationship is handled.
The Challenge
The challenge was to create a platform that could help individuals and corporate users manage their administrative tasks online. The co-founders of My Virtual Assistant, Wes Thomson and Lindsay Thomson, aimed to build a personal assistant app that could handle various tasks, profiles, memberships, track costs, and preferences for their assistants. The goal was to increase efficiency by allowing the team to focus on the app's users without compromising features like user interface. The challenge also included making the virtual assistant service accessible to any person or company in any country, at a reasonable cost.
The Solution
The solution was the creation of the My Virtual Assistant app. For a low monthly fee, users can have access to a dedicated personal assistant. Through the app, users can create a profile, set up, and manage their monthly subscription, and have instant access to their personal assistant. They can also create business and individual tasks through the app, which their personal assistant receives and completes. The app provides a portal where users can see the full overview of the task status and edit the tasks. The standard pricing for a My Virtual Assistant membership is $39 per month, which includes access to a dedicated personal assistant and 15 credits, equivalent to 2 hours and 15 minutes of the assistant's time. Users can buy additional credits at any time through the app if they need more assistance.
