The Challenge
Terrain, an online course marketplace, was facing a unique challenge. The platform was designed to emphasize course completion rather than course hoarding, a common problem among entrepreneurs. However, the founder, Eman Zabi, had no experience with no-code tools, which are essential for building robust and feature-rich web applications. The challenge was to find a no-code platform that could offer limitless features and options to build the web app. Additionally, the platform needed to be user-friendly, as Eman had no prior experience with such tools.
The Solution
Eman chose Bubble's no-code platform to build Terrain. Bubble offered a robust and limitless feature set that was perfect for building the web app. It also had an active forum, which was encouraging for a beginner like Eman. The app works by allowing users to sign up, pick categories they're interested in, and earn peak points by completing courses. These points can be traded for discounts or donated to charity. The app also offers a free demo course for users to test all the features, including badges, LinkedIn certificates, discussion boards, forums, and a dark mode.
