The Challenge
TextMagic, an SMS company based in the UK, was facing a challenge as mobile messaging was gaining popularity. The company, with over 14 years of experience in improving business communications and mobile marketing through online text messages, was looking to enhance their platform with more sophisticated and robust features. They wanted to support global cloud communications capabilities, including the ability to send SMS notifications, alerts, reminders, confirmations, and marketing campaigns. As TextMagic grew from its modest start in 2001, the need to bolster their platform became more apparent. The challenge was to find a solution that could provide these features and support their growth.
The Solution
To address this challenge, TextMagic partnered with Vonage and integrated with Vonage's robust SMS API. This integration allowed TextMagic's clients to send bulk SMS campaigns with unmatched deliverability rates, decrease the time spent setting up and managing these campaigns, and reach any active mobile device, regardless of its location through Vonage’s meshed carrier network. The solution also provided the ability to choose the best path for traffic distribution in real time via Adaptive Routing technology and abide by regional compliance and regulations so their messages arrive without delay. This partnership with Vonage and the integration of their SMS API was the solution that TextMagic needed to enhance their platform and support their growth.

Vodafone Hosted On AWS
Vodafone found that traffic for the applications peak during the four-month period when the international cricket season is at its height in Australia. During the 2011/2012 cricket season, 700,000 consumers downloaded the Cricket Live Australia application. Vodafone needed to be able to meet customer demand, but didn’t want to invest in additional resources that would be underutilized during cricket’s off-season.
