About The Customer
Xperia Blog is the largest Xperia community worldwide, providing the latest news, reviews, and firmware details around Sony’s mobile devices. The blog has been regularly featured across major technology sites, including Engadget, Gizmodo, SlashGear, TechCrunch, and The Verge. Its target audience consists of current Sony Xperia mobile/tablet customers and anyone fascinated by the mobile space and the Android platform. Prior to working with Marfeel, Xperia Blog had a mobile site in place, created by a third-party vendor, which was not meeting its SEO optimization expectations.
The Challenge
Xperia Blog, a leading source of news and reviews for Sony's mobile devices, was facing a significant challenge with its mobile site. Despite being a blog that focuses on news around smartphones, a small portion of its traffic was coming from mobile devices. The mobile site, created by a third-party vendor, was not meeting Xperia Blog's SEO optimization expectations. The blog was urgently looking to improve its SEO, increase mobile traffic and time spent on its mobile site, increase user engagement by implementing a dynamic, multi-screen strategy that addresses all mobile devices and operating systems, and maximize mobile monetization.
The Solution
Marfeel provided a solution to Xperia Blog's challenges by building a brand new mobile website. This website was mobile-adaptive, native, and monetization-driven, taking user experience into consideration and driving deeper engagement, which directly contributed to optimized ad revenue. Marfeel's proprietary technology was used to continually analyze and optimize data, ensuring a better presentation and layout of content, while substantially increasing revenues. The new mobile website addressed Xperia Blog's need for a dynamic, multi-screen strategy that could adapt and update over time, addressing new developments in Mobile and optimizing its monetization efforts.

Vodafone found that traffic for the applications peak during the four-month period when the international cricket season is at its height in Australia. During the 2011/2012 cricket season, 700,000 consumers downloaded the Cricket Live Australia application. Vodafone needed to be able to meet customer demand, but didn’t want to invest in additional resources that would be underutilized during cricket’s off-season.
