About The Customer
Advance2000 offers a variety of full-service IT solutions to a broad range of small, medium, and enterprise-level businesses. Services include private cloud computing, network design and implementation, integrated communications, and IT consulting. With nine offices throughout North America, Advance2000 works with industries including architecture, engineering, legal, education, government, healthcare, and manufacturing.
The Challenge
Advance2000 had just completed its first Office 365 sale, and needed a fast and reliable method of onboarding the customer as a next step. However, because they would be moving customers from various platforms to Office 365, they faced a dilemma in finding a solution that could perform that task. Completing the project manually via PST Export was Advance2000’s usual method of performing migrations, but was not an option for this project for several reasons, including: Long configuration process, Slow time to completion, Risk of data loss or corruption, End user interruption and productivity loss. Ideally, the company imagined a solution that would automate the process of Office 365 onboarding, but ultimately they weren’t sure such a product was available.
The Solution
Advance2000 found an ideal match for their project’s requirements. After a thorough search of available options, Advance2000 opted to try BitTitan’s UserActivation. UserActivation automates the entire Office 365 onboarding process, and is capable of migrating user data – including mailboxes and account information – from multiple sources. The company’s corporate trainer, Amado Figueroa, had also had previous success with UserActivation. “The ability to minimize the time it takes to complete these projects is amazing,” Figueroa said. “Initially it was just the automated approach that really grabbed me, but the overall efficiency of UserActivation has really helped us in more ways than I had thought possible.”

Airbus Soars with Wearable Technology
Building an Airbus aircraft involves complex manufacturing processes consisting of thousands of moving parts. Speed and accuracy are critical to business and competitive advantage. Improvements in both would have high impact on Airbus’ bottom line. Airbus wanted to help operators reduce the complexity of assembling cabin seats and decrease the time required to complete this task.

Improving Production Line Efficiency with Ethernet Micro RTU Controller
Moxa was asked to provide a connectivity solution for one of the world's leading cosmetics companies. This multinational corporation, with retail presence in 130 countries, 23 global braches, and over 66,000 employees, sought to improve the efficiency of their production process by migrating from manual monitoring to an automatic productivity monitoring system. The production line was being monitored by ABB Real-TPI, a factory information system that offers data collection and analysis to improve plant efficiency. Due to software limitations, the customer needed an OPC server and a corresponding I/O solution to collect data from additional sensor devices for the Real-TPI system. The goal is to enable the factory information system to more thoroughly collect data from every corner of the production line. This will improve its ability to measure Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and translate into increased production efficiencies. System Requirements • Instant status updates while still consuming minimal bandwidth to relieve strain on limited factory networks • Interoperable with ABB Real-TPI • Small form factor appropriate for deployment where space is scarce • Remote software management and configuration to simplify operations
