About The Customer
Ayrshire Tree Surgeons is a tree service company established in Kilbirnie, Scotland in 2006. They provide a variety of tree services for both residential and large commercial clients across Scotland. As one of the largest tree contractors in Scotland, Ayrshire Tree Surgeons strives to play on a bigger stage, while providing world-class service to their residential and commercial clients. The company has over 25 employees and is committed to delivering the highest level of professional service to their customers. Safety is a top priority for Ayrshire Tree Surgeons, given that tree surgery work is one of the most dangerous industries to be involved in.
The Challenge
Ayrshire Tree Surgeons, one of the largest tree contractors in Scotland, was struggling with a paper-based system that was slow and cumbersome. The company, which provides a variety of tree services for residential and large commercial clients, was finding it increasingly difficult to manage their growing business with their existing system. The extra administration and costs involved with a paper-based system were substantial. As the company grew and expanded, they needed a system that would grow and expand with them, and a process that would enable them to be as efficient as possible. The challenge was to find an inclusive solution that would accommodate their steadily growing business and streamline their operations.
The Solution
Ayrshire Tree Surgeons decided to modernize their operations with a digital job management platform, Commusoft. This was a huge step for the business, but with Commusoft facilitating daily operations and workflows, they were able to hit the ground running. The transition from a paper-based system to an online system was seamless, with full support from Commusoft. The training provided by Commusoft was excellent and quickly built confidence within the team. Commusoft also streamlined Ayrshire Tree Surgeons’ estimate and quotes process. Digital estimates could be built with custom templates, incorporate unique parts and their costs, including site photos, and could be emailed to customers to accept digitally. Once a job was won, the teams were then allocated to the job through the calendar in Commusoft. The teams then had full visibility on their tablets of the full scope of what’s required on the job.
