About The Customer
Curran is a family-owned online luxury retailer with 30 years of experience in curating quality flooring and European home furnishings. They cater to design-oriented consumers and hospitality industries, selling a curated selection of high-end European-inspired indoor and outdoor furniture and flooring. Their goal is to provide premium customer service and support from product selection to installation. Curran is a residential and commercial retailer with international distribution, specializing in natural and synthetic carpets and high-design furniture and flooring. The Challenge
Curran, a family-owned online luxury retailer, faced several operational challenges. Their highly customized website required a custom API to connect to their ERP system, Acumatica. With only one developer on staff, the manual integration tasks were time-consuming and detracted from further website development and customer experience enhancement. Additionally, Curran struggled with real-time inventory visibility. Their accountant had to maintain stock in two different databases, leading to data silos, inaccurate orders, and a poor customer experience. This often resulted in the need to provide order discounts, negatively impacting the company’s bottom line. Furthermore, due to their diverse selection of luxury furnishings, Curran had difficulty managing over fifty thousand unique SKUs associated with customized order placements.
The Solution
Curran turned to Celigo for a solution. A representative from PC Bennett recommended Celigo integrations, based on their flexible and stable Acumatica connectors. After connecting their website and ERP, Curran explored other connection possibilities to address more of their integration needs. They connected Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to improve their Google data insights and advertising. This automation benefited not only the marketing team but also the HR and sales departments. The integration and automation of their ordering and shipping systems improved inventory management, order debugging, and shipping precision. All product item attributes are now maintained in parallel, eliminating the need for manual tasks and freeing up time for customer service and website enhancement.
