About The Customer
The customer is a multinational consumer products company, headquartered in Europe with 500 global locations. The company has a strong Asia/Pacific manufacturing presence. It has an annual revenue of $20+ billion and employs over 80,000 people worldwide. The company was looking for a solution to enhance employee engagement in their safety performance improvement initiatives, particularly in their Asia-Pacific operations. They wanted to transition from a paper-based reporting system to a more efficient and real-time digital system.
The Challenge
The Asia-Pacific operations of the multinational consumer products company needed a solution to engage employees & shop floor workers in safety improvement opportunities (SIO). They wanted to transition from a cumbersome paper-based reporting system to a more efficient digital one. The company needed real-time visibility for department managers and leaders on SIO reports/ status and wanted to initiate immediate action on SIO reports to build confidence & encourage employee engagement. They also needed a system to report SIOs using Mobile technology and generate & send monthly reports to Asia-Pacific leaders on site-specific SIO reporting & action status.
The Solution
The company implemented Benchmark’s Concern Reporting application which enables employees to report SIOs & Near Miss events using desktop & Mobile devices. The application was customized to display SIO types & operations/activities suiting prevalent nomenclature, initiate workflow & notification to respective department managers to review & assign responsibility for action, include an anonymous reporting option, and create system generated reports automatically emailed to key stakeholders on a weekly & monthly basis. The company also leveraged Benchmark’s Data Insights application for continuous pulsing of application use and trending & data analytics.

Improving Vending Machine Profitability with the Internet of Things (IoT)
The vending industry is undergoing a sea change, taking advantage of new technologies to go beyond just delivering snacks to creating a new retail location. Intelligent vending machines can be found in many public locations as well as company facilities, selling different types of goods and services, including even computer accessories, gold bars, tickets, and office supplies. With increasing sophistication, they may also provide time- and location-based data pertaining to sales, inventory, and customer preferences. But at the end of the day, vending machine operators know greater profitability is driven by higher sales and lower operating costs.

Revolutionizing Rodent Control
From pet- and child-safe traps, to touch-free and live-catch rodent control solutions, Victor continues to stay committed to producing superior products that meet the varying needs of today’s pest control professionals. And, with a long standing history supporting customers in the food processing, service, and retail settings, Victor knew that strict regulations were costing organizations thousands of dollars in excess overhead trying to manage their rodent-control solutions. Trap inspections in these environments are often difficult and time consuming, requiring personnel to manually check a trap’s status multiple times per day, amounting to over six hours of manual labor. Victor is looking for an innovative way to increase operational efficiencies with the use of technology.
