About The Customer
Axis is a property services company that is facing increasing pressure to address the real estate sector's contribution to global emissions. The company is experiencing a shift in customer expectations, with sustainability playing a critical role in winning bigger contracts. However, the company's ability to keep pace with these changes is hindered by legacy processes. The company's team member, Oliver, is spending a significant amount of time pulling fragmented data points into spreadsheets, which offer little insight. The company is in need of a solution that can help them set reduction targets and take strategic action on their carbon emissions.
The Challenge
Axis, a property services company, is under growing pressure to address the real estate sector's contribution to 40% of global emissions. Tenders in this industry used to be decided by balancing price and quality. However, sustainability is growing in weight, often playing a critical role in winning bigger contracts. The shift in customer expectation has happened quickly, but the industry’s ability to keep pace is hindered by legacy processes. Oliver, a member of the Axis team, felt like he was spending all of his time pulling fragmented data points into bloated spreadsheets that offered little insight. He knew that in order to actually set reduction targets and take action on Axis’ carbon emissions, he would need a solution that would give him the space to be more strategic.
The Solution
To address the challenges faced by Axis, the company turned to Emitwise, a carbon management platform. This platform enables companies to progress to the strategic stages of sustainability. With streamlined data collection and automated calculations in the platform, the team at Axis finally had the space to focus on insight and action. Emitwise provided a smarter way to manage carbon, addressing the manual foundational stages of carbon management with technology. This solution allowed the sustainability team at Axis to take a more strategic approach to managing the company's carbon emissions. The Emitwise platform provided functionality and outputs that could be applied across three key areas: market differentiation, unlocking bigger contracts, and gaining internal recognition.

IoT based Energy Quality Availability Monitoring Solution
There were several challenges faced:Since this data would be in the public domain, accuracy and authenticity of this data were of paramount importance. It should be able to withstand scrutiny. It is challenging to build an appliance that can withstand a wide range of voltage fluctuations from as low at 90v to as high as 320v. Since the device would be installed in remote locations, its resilience was of paramount importance. The device would have to deal with poor network coverage and have the ability to store and re-transmit data if networks were not available, which is often the case in rural India. The device could store up to 30 days of data. The platform that deals with the data should be readily available and highly reliable and never lose a packet of data.

ELI LILLY ADOPTS MICROMEDIA’S ALERT NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
Pharmaceutical production is subject to a strict set of enforced rules that must be adhered to and compliance to these standards is critically necessary. Due to the efforts of WIN 911’s strategic partner Micromedia, Lilly was able to adopt an alarm notification infrastructure that integrated smoothly with their existing workflows and emergency hardware and protocols. These raw energy sources enable the industrial process to function: electricity, WIN-911 Software | 4020 South Industrial Drive, Suite 120 | Austin, TX 78744 USA industrial steam, iced water, air mixtures of varying quality. Refrigeration towers, boilers and wastewater are monitored by ALERT. Eli Lilly identified 15000 potential variables, but limitations compelled them to chisel the variable list down to 300. This allowed all major alarms to be covered including pressure, discharge, quantity of waste water discharged, temperature, carbon dioxide content, oxygen & sulphur content, and the water’s pH.
