About The Customer
Corsicana Bedding, LLC is a producer of quality mattresses for independent retail stores, regional outlets, and national chains across the U.S. The company has been in operation for more than 40 years. Corsicana builds a wide range of premium mattresses and bedding products. The company prioritizes service and on-time delivery, and it has strategically placed production facilities throughout the country to ensure this. Corsicana is committed to providing an exceptional customer experience before and after each purchase. The company is dedicated to continuously improving its quality service.
The Challenge
Corsicana Bedding, a producer of quality mattresses, was facing challenges with its load communications. The company was dealing with complex and numerous communications around loads, which was becoming cumbersome. For instance, some loads had as many as 20 emails going back and forth. This was making it difficult for the company to keep track of what was covered. As a result, Corsicana was seeking a transportation management system (TMS) that could increase automation and streamline operations. The company wanted a TMS that would enable new business initiatives.
The Solution
After considering various offerings on the market, Corsicana selected the 3Gtms Transportation Management System (TMS). The 3Gtms TMS stood out because of its flexibility, applicability to the manufacturer’s size and needs, and the expert reputation of Mitch Weseley, CEO of 3Gtms. The 3Gtms TMS boosts productivity by improving shipment efficiency and communications, increasing shipment visibility, and providing greater financial transparency. The system uses sophisticated optimization algorithms and actual rate cost to deliver the best plan that can be realistically executed. During implementation and after the go-live, Corsicana required substantial business changes, particularly around order fulfillment. The responsive teams and flexible software of 3Gtms enabled every change.

Improving Vending Machine Profitability with the Internet of Things (IoT)
The vending industry is undergoing a sea change, taking advantage of new technologies to go beyond just delivering snacks to creating a new retail location. Intelligent vending machines can be found in many public locations as well as company facilities, selling different types of goods and services, including even computer accessories, gold bars, tickets, and office supplies. With increasing sophistication, they may also provide time- and location-based data pertaining to sales, inventory, and customer preferences. But at the end of the day, vending machine operators know greater profitability is driven by higher sales and lower operating costs.

Revolutionizing Rodent Control
From pet- and child-safe traps, to touch-free and live-catch rodent control solutions, Victor continues to stay committed to producing superior products that meet the varying needs of today’s pest control professionals. And, with a long standing history supporting customers in the food processing, service, and retail settings, Victor knew that strict regulations were costing organizations thousands of dollars in excess overhead trying to manage their rodent-control solutions. Trap inspections in these environments are often difficult and time consuming, requiring personnel to manually check a trap’s status multiple times per day, amounting to over six hours of manual labor. Victor is looking for an innovative way to increase operational efficiencies with the use of technology.
