About The Customer
Traeger Grills is a company that has been at the forefront of innovation in the grilling industry. Founded in 1985 in Oregon, the company pioneered the use of wood pellet technology for barbecuing, introducing a new method of cooking that hadn't been seen in the industry for decades. Now based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Traeger Grills continues to innovate. The company has expanded its product range to include cloud-connected grills that allow users to control everything from temperature to grill times from their smartphones. This has not only disrupted the grilling industry but also transformed the entire grilling experience. For Traeger's customers, grilling is not just a way of life, it is life.
The Challenge
Traeger Grills, a pioneer in wood pellet technology for barbecuing, was facing a challenge. Despite its innovative approach and global success, the company lacked real-time insights into its business operations. The CEO, Jeremy Andrus, was often waiting for a week or more to receive reports. The company had a wealth of data, but it was scattered across dozens of different sources, making it difficult to gain a comprehensive, up-to-date view of the business. This lack of real-time data was hindering the company's ability to make timely decisions and respond to emerging trends or issues.
The Solution
To address its challenge, Traeger Grills turned to Domo, a platform that could bring live data from dozens of systems into one central location that updates in real time. The company took its original ERP system, created in 1992, and used Domo to integrate data from various sources, including Salesforce, Google Analytics, NOAA, and Shopping Cart. This solution provided everyone at Traeger Grills with an accurate, real-time view of the business. With Domo, reports that previously took a week or longer to reach the CEO now arrived in real time on his phone. The platform empowered executives and teams across the organization with real-time insights, enabling them to identify issues before they impacted customers, make decisions and take action in real time, tell better stories, and share data cross-functionally.

Improving Vending Machine Profitability with the Internet of Things (IoT)
The vending industry is undergoing a sea change, taking advantage of new technologies to go beyond just delivering snacks to creating a new retail location. Intelligent vending machines can be found in many public locations as well as company facilities, selling different types of goods and services, including even computer accessories, gold bars, tickets, and office supplies. With increasing sophistication, they may also provide time- and location-based data pertaining to sales, inventory, and customer preferences. But at the end of the day, vending machine operators know greater profitability is driven by higher sales and lower operating costs.

Revolutionizing Rodent Control
From pet- and child-safe traps, to touch-free and live-catch rodent control solutions, Victor continues to stay committed to producing superior products that meet the varying needs of today’s pest control professionals. And, with a long standing history supporting customers in the food processing, service, and retail settings, Victor knew that strict regulations were costing organizations thousands of dollars in excess overhead trying to manage their rodent-control solutions. Trap inspections in these environments are often difficult and time consuming, requiring personnel to manually check a trap’s status multiple times per day, amounting to over six hours of manual labor. Victor is looking for an innovative way to increase operational efficiencies with the use of technology.
