About The Customer
David Coomer, the owner of Coomer Media Group, has spent years building the success of his company. Based in Lexington, Kentucky, his business has grown into an award-winning design and production firm, conquering the challenges presented by the highly competitive screenprinting and advertising market. Coomer Media Group has created graphics and advertising campaigns for a wide variety of projects, including custom automotive artwork for the NASCAR racing circuit. The company's software of choice is CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. The company's reputation depends on the quality of its products and the speed at which the team works.
The Challenge
Coomer Media Group, a Lexington, Kentucky-based design and production firm, specializes in creating graphics and advertising campaigns for a wide range of projects, including custom automotive artwork for the NASCAR racing circuit. The company's software of choice is CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. However, the company often faces tight deadlines, such as a 48-hour window to create a truck design for Timber Wolf. The challenge was not only to create an eye-catching design within the given timeframe but also to ensure that the decals fit perfectly on the vehicle without needing to be re-cut during installation. The design also had to be versatile enough to be used in various promotional efforts, not just on the NASCAR vehicles.
The Solution
Coomer Media Group relied on CorelDRAW Graphics Suite to meet these challenges. The team first took detailed measurements of the vehicle and profile photos, then recreated the car as a mathematically precise model in CorelDRAW. This ensured that the decals would fit perfectly on the vehicle. The team then used the software's easy-to-use tools to create a realistic and eye-catching design. The software's Perspective, Distort, and Gradient tools were critical in helping the team realize their vision. The integrated features in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, like Corel PowerTRACE and previewing overprints, enabled the team to get more done, faster than ever before. The team was able to produce high-quality content in a limited amount of time, resulting in a sophisticated product for the client.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
