The Challenge
While transitioning from a startup to a more established enterprise, Caregility faced challenges in standardizing its processes to remain competitive in the healthcare market. A significant issue was the lack of process documentation, as much of the knowledge was held by stakeholders and not documented. This posed a risk if stakeholders left the company, as their knowledge would leave with them. Additionally, Caregility needed to identify bottlenecks and breakdowns in their processes to improve efficiency and standardize both existing and planned processes.
The Solution
Caregility chose Integrify to address their challenges due to its user-friendly, drag-and-drop process building environment. Integrify's platform allowed Caregility to document processes, build blueprints for internal and external affairs, and identify bottlenecks in current processes. The hospital supply chain team is responsible for ensuring that the right medical supplies are readily available to clinicians when and where needed, and to do so in the most efficient manner possible. However, many of the systems and processes in use at the cancer center for supply chain management were not best suited to support these goals.
