About The Customer
Cloudbeds is a leading hospitality management software provider, recognized as the fastest growing in its industry worldwide. The company offers fully-integrated tools to manage properties of all types and sizes, focusing on building revenue, driving bookings, and increasing operational efficiency. Cloudbeds is headquartered in San Diego, Dublin, and Sao Paulo, Brazil, but its employees are located globally and speak more than 17 languages. The company was founded by Richard Castle and Adam Harris in 2012, originating from a simple 'napkin idea' during their travels in Brazil.
The Challenge
Cloudbeds, a rapidly growing hospitality management software company, was facing significant challenges in creating and integrating documentation. The company's VP of Customer Success & Services, Colin Slade, and his team were struggling with the speed and quantity of content they could produce using their existing tools, Google Docs and Word Docs. The team was tasked with documenting a large amount of material, both internal and external, and found it particularly challenging to integrate screenshots into their documentation. The need for a more efficient and effective solution for their document generation issues was evident. They required a tool that would allow them to create content and documentation quickly, easily, and with integrated screenshots.
The Solution
To address their documentation challenges, Cloudbeds turned to the ScreenSteps desktop editor. This tool offered built-in screen capture and image annotation capabilities, which proved to be the solution to their problem. The ScreenSteps Desktop Editor allowed Colin and his team to integrate screenshots into any articles seamlessly, create image annotations, add arrows, callouts, and directions, generate text fields, and provide text explanations for their screenshots. Additionally, the tool enabled them to create checklists that were easy to follow, foldable sections to reveal information as necessary, and include videos, GIFs, and more. The ScreenSteps content creation software also proved beneficial for Cloudbeds' help desk.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
