About The Customer
Exacto is a company founded in 1981, known for advancing the science of adjuvants and developing innovative technologies that improve the economics of irrigation and pesticide applications. The company focuses on engineering solutions designed to optimize the conditions in which chemicals, water, and soils come together to create bountiful croplands and vibrant landscapes. It operates in a highly regulated industry and was looking for a way to improve organization, accountability, and compliance across the entire company. The company is based in rural Sharon, Wisconsin, and has a workforce of 55 employees.
The Challenge
Exacto, a company specializing in the development of adjuvants and irrigation technologies, was facing challenges in improving organization, accountability, and compliance across all its departments. The company's existing ERP system was not providing adequate workflow management capabilities. The need was to find a system that could automate all aspects of the company, including sales, technical, marketing, compliance, research, and operations departments. The system also needed to facilitate both internal and external requests in a timely manner while documenting each step of the process. The challenge was further compounded by the company's location in rural Sharon, Wisconsin, where weather and other external factors often caused internet problems, disrupting the workflow for remote salespeople.
The Solution
Exacto implemented Integrify Cloud in 2010, a 100% web-based solution for workflow management. Integrify allowed the company to automate requests and streamline processes, providing form creation, routing definition, and tracking tools. This solution minimized data entry and simplified requests for approval and fulfillment, eliminating problems related to labor-intensive processes such as manual paper handling and email requests. The company later moved to the Cloud version of Integrify to ensure system uptime for remote salespeople. Integrify Cloud offered a secure hosting environment, real-time workflow and process tracking, increased visibility into processes, and a customer-branded process portal. All 55 employees of Exacto use the Integrify system, and almost every task in the company is automated through it, processing more than 225 requests each month.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
