About The Customer
DiGiMATiON Incorporated is a leading developer of advanced broadcast and place-based multimedia authoring solutions. They collaborate with Capital Networks, a company that integrates, markets, and supports software products from DiGiMATiON. Through a unique partnership with these two companies, Matrox Video Products Group produces Matrox Infonet TV—an integrated information delivery system designed for cable and community television, corporate communications, digital signage, educational institutions, and hospitality channels. Their clientele includes Wells Dairy Inc., SusCom Corporation, Sabre Corporation, Lifeway, UCLA, Kansas City School District, Wake Forest University, and many more.
The Challenge
DiGiMATiON, a leading developer of advanced broadcast and place-based multimedia authoring solutions, was in a partnership with Matrox Video Products Group to produce Matrox Infonet TV, an integrated information delivery system. The challenge was to provide an interface for their software, Audience.tv, that was feature-rich yet easy to customize and user-friendly. They needed a program that could serve as a layout, design, and rendering engine for creating graphical content for a wide variety of broadcast media. After considering several products from competitors, they found none that could match the capabilities of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. The suite's ease of use, tight integration, and advanced three-dimensional graphics effects were the deciding factors.
The Solution
The solution was the integration of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite into Audience.tv. The suite provided the graphical foundation of Audience.tv and thanks to its customizable Application Program Interface (API), it fit into Audience as a layout, design, and rendering engine. Users could access CorelDRAW Graphics Suite functionality from within Audience to create graphical content for a wide variety of broadcast media. Matrox Infonet TV, powered by Audience.tv, became a comprehensive solution for communicating with maximum impact and minimal effort to any target audience, through cable channels, closed-circuit television, the Internet, or an Intranet. The system was scalable, from simple, very affordable, one-channel systems to comprehensive worldwide networks that include dozens or even hundreds of localized channels.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
