About The Customer
Jacksonville University is a renowned educational institution that was facing significant cybersecurity challenges. The university was struggling with advanced threats hiding in web, email, and lateral spread traffic. The existing infrastructure was not robust enough to detect and counter these threats effectively. The university needed a solution that could easily integrate with the existing infrastructure and adapt to newly discovered threats by updating security policies to strengthen in-line tools. The university was also looking for a solution that could provide additional intelligence around potential threats and improve the productivity of their Incident Response team.

The Solution
Jacksonville University chose Cyphort as their cybersecurity solution after evaluating several vendors including Palo Alto Wildfire and Trend Micro. Cyphort was selected for its ability to easily integrate with existing infrastructure and its strong detection of advanced threats. The university uses Cyphort's web collectors positioned at their network perimeter to detect threats as they enter or exit their network. Additionally, Cyphort is used to integrate with their SIEM or other orchestration tools to provide additional intelligence around potential threats. The university found Cyphort's performance, ease of use, accuracy, manageability, scalability, and support to be best in class when compared to the competition.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
