They have hundreds of games for desktops and mobile devices currently on the market. The company was looking for a way to increase the number of game downloads in a short amount of time. They wanted to diversify their strategy for generating downloads and were specifically interested in finding an efficient and effective way to direct customers to their games’ download sites.
The Challenge
NHN Entertainment was looking to diversify their strategy for how they generate downloads of their games, and specifically how to efficiently and effectively direct customers to their games’ download sites. They wanted a solution that could rapidly gain opt-ins and direct customers to their games' download sites in a streamlined manner.
The Solution
NHN Entertainment used Trumpia’s mobile keyword tool to rapidly gain opt-ins at a breakneck pace. In fact, they were able to collect over 920 and counting in under just a month. Additionally, NHN Entertainment implemented an auto-response to their keywords, which automatically sent a message to anyone who texted their keyword to the short code. In those responses, they embedded a link to download one of their games, streamlining the path from contact to download. Though focused on Trumpia’s text-to-download feature, they are exploring other functions to utilize in the future.
