About The Customer
Razzmatazz is a prominent concert center in Barcelona, founded in 2000. It is synonymous with Barcelona's musical history and is one of the city's top venues for culture and entertainment. Its five concert halls have featured some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Coldplay, Kanye West, Blur, The Strokes, and Arctic Monkeys. Razzmatazz is known for its commitment to delivering the best possible sound experience to artists and audiences alike. It is constantly investing in new equipment to keep up with the evolving demands of the live music industry.
The Challenge
Razzmatazz, a renowned concert center in Barcelona, was facing the challenge of upgrading its live sound system to meet the increasing technical demands of national and international artists. The live music industry is constantly evolving, necessitating Razzmatazz to keep pace with the changes. The artists' technical demands were escalating, and productions were becoming more complex in terms of audio quality and installation complexity. The concert center recognized the need to replace its decade-old Avid VENUE | Profile to meet the variable technical needs of their artists. The main goal was to acquire a new console for the main hall that would be widely accepted by live sound engineers. Factors such as sound quality, flexibility, adaptability, reliability, compatibility, expandability, and cost-effectiveness were considered in the decision-making process.
The Solution
In collaboration with Avid's Spanish partner SeeSound, Razzmatazz selected the Avid VENUE | S6L-32D live sound system. This system offers the mixing efficiency, creativity, and flexibility needed to meet the demands of any production. It features 32 faders for maximum tactile control without banking and four touchscreens that deliver comprehensive visual feedback. This allows Razzmatazz to offer visiting engineers a best-in-class console with which to mix their artists. Razzmatazz also opted for an E6L-144 processing engine for the system, which offers 144 input channels that can easily cover all of the venue's concerts and corporate events. Its excellent sound quality and unrivaled processing capabilities provide transparent and clear mixing for performances of all sizes.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
