About The Customer
pLink Leadership is an executive coaching and leadership development organization that was established in 2013. The organization operates entirely virtually, with team members located in various cities across the United States and clients around the globe. Owned and led by women, pLink Leadership is committed to its core values of future-mindedness, perspective, curiosity, and love. The organization's mission is to help business owners close the gap between themselves and their employees in a positive work environment.
The Challenge
pLink Leadership, a fully virtual company with team members across the United States, faced a significant challenge in maintaining consistency and efficiency in their operations due to the absence of well-documented standard operating procedures (SOPs). The company initially attempted to document their processes in a Word document, which quickly grew to an unwieldy 85 pages. However, the rapid pace of change in their operations meant that the information in the document quickly became outdated. Furthermore, the large size of the document made it difficult for team members to find the information they needed, leading to slow processes and frustrated employees.
The Solution
In search of a better solution for documenting business processes, pLink Leadership discovered SweetProcess, a software designed to streamline business operations. After a 14-day free trial, the company was convinced that SweetProcess was the right choice for their needs. The software provided them with the tools they needed to create simple and usable processes, and its interface was particularly appealing to the company's Chief Design Officer, Jennifer. SweetProcess also offered a training function, which pLink Leadership found invaluable for onboarding new employees and training established employees in new roles. The software also allowed the company to create a central knowledge base, accessible to all team members, which eliminated the need for constant question-and-answer sessions. Finally, SweetProcess was easy to integrate with other tools used by the business.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
