Baosight

Originated from the Baosteel Automation Business Unit established in 1978, Shanghai Baosight Software Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "Baosight ") is the IT software business unit of Baosteel. Baosight's shares were listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2001 with a registered capital of RMB 262 million (US$38.36 million). In 2010, Baosight realized RMB 2.581 billion (US$383.83 million) in operating revenue, accounting for 36.85% of China's iron and steel information business market. Baosight's MES solutions also take up over 50% of China's iron and steel MES market. Additionally, Baosight has been recognized as a State Level R&D center. In 2009, the company ran in fourth place in terms of business revenue among China's homegrown software enterprises.
