About The Customer
Broxap is a British company that specializes in the manufacture and supply of high-specification street furniture, shelters, timber playgrounds, sports, and outdoor gym equipment. The company has grown to seven divisions and is focused on leveraging technology to drive its business growth. Broxap's clientele includes local governments, the National Health Service, the UK Ministry of Defence, schools and universities, construction sector clients, and many other commercial and private organizations. As a 75-year-old business, Broxap has a vast archive of images showcasing the durability and versatility of their products across a wide range of projects.
The Challenge
Broxap, a British manufacturer and supplier of high-specification street furniture and outdoor equipment, was facing a significant challenge in managing its vast archive of images and digital assets. These assets were stored in a restricted access library, which was only accessible to the graphics team. Over time, as employees with knowledge of this system left the company, it became increasingly difficult for the remaining team members to locate specific images and files. This was due to the complex structure of folders and subfolders in the library. Furthermore, as part of their digital transformation strategy, Broxap was keen on enhancing its website and e-commerce offerings. This required a more efficient and accessible system for managing their digital assets, which would fit in with their existing tech stack, including Magento.
The Solution
Broxap turned to Canto, a digital asset management solution, to centralize and streamline their image management. This solution was chosen over a Product Information Management (PIM) system as it better suited their needs. With Canto, Broxap was able to create a central repository for their digital assets, accessible to sales, marketing, and purchasing teams. This enabled the marketing team to efficiently source, share, edit, and download digital content for their campaigns. Freelance photographers were given access to their own portals, allowing their photos to go directly into Canto. Broxap also set up user profiles for different business functions, streamlining the workflow for various teams. They could now download images in the right shape and size for different uses with just a few clicks. Furthermore, detailed tags were added to images as they were uploaded to Canto, enabling salespeople to run broad or specific searches for the images they needed.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
