About The Customer
C Chez Vous is a 'last mile' delivery company founded in 2008. It is a subsidiary of the CASINO Group and primarily manages the home delivery of CDISCOUNT products weighing more than 30 kg. The company operates from its logistics hub in Saint Etienne, its 33 regional agencies, and 9 satellites. It has 45 delivery platforms across France and 500 withdrawal points distributed throughout the territory. The company handles 300 to 400 daily home deliveries, amounting to over a million deliveries and 1.5 million point withdrawals per year.
The Challenge
C Chez Vous, a subsidiary of the CASINO Group, is a 'last mile' delivery company that primarily manages the home delivery of CDISCOUNT products weighing more than 30 kg. With 45 delivery platforms in France, 500 withdrawal points distributed throughout the territory, and 300 to 400 daily home deliveries, the company handles over a million deliveries and 1.5 million point withdrawals per year. As the company experienced strong growth, it became crucial to establish a centralized and automated appointment booking and home delivery workflow, including electronic delivery notes. The company also needed to optimize volume-driven appointment scheduling in real-time. With several hundred thousand products to deliver, C Chez Vous required a tool that could integrate into its information system and account for all necessary delivery parameters, such as the product's nature, its size, the deliverymen’s capabilities, the service's nature, and the client's location.
The Solution
C Chez Vous selected Opti-Time from GEOCONCEPT to optimize its delivery system. Opti-Time was chosen primarily for its route optimization performance, overall ergonomics, and an appointment booking module integrated with the tool. This flexible and scalable solution allows C Chez Vous to upgrade its delivery system over time, ensuring optimal route scheduling management. The installation of Opti-Time means that the C Chez Vous delivery schedules are combined and continuously updated in real-time. Delivery scheduling is optimal, factoring in all the company’s logistic constraints and customer availability. After each order placed on the CDISCOUNT website, the customer receives an order confirmation e-mail with a proposed appointment generated by the solution. In the absence of a customer response, the appointment remains in the delivery schedules. C Chez Vous can also easily and instantaneously display the confirmed and unconfirmed appointments at the same time.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
