About The Customer
IOZ is a professional services company based in Switzerland. Founded in 2007, the company helps businesses in the German-speaking regions of Switzerland to adopt SharePoint as the platform for their quality management systems. IOZ specializes in SharePoint and automation with Nintex, providing its clients with effective and hassle-free solutions for process mapping and management. The company is in the business of helping its clients get the most from Microsoft technologies, including Nintex, which is the only Microsoft-ecosystem software not from Microsoft itself that the company includes among the most important technologies it uses.
The Challenge
IOZ, a Swiss professional services company, was facing a dual challenge. Firstly, their clients required a business process management solution that could be easily integrated with SharePoint. Secondly, IOZ itself was in need of a solution to overhaul its quality management program. The company, which specializes in SharePoint and automation with Nintex, realized that many of its clients still needed an effective and hassle-free solution for process mapping and management. IOZ was also struggling with a large number of processes, some of which they were previously unaware of, and needed a way to streamline and optimize these for better efficiency and profitability.
The Solution
IOZ found its solution in Nintex Promapp®, a complete business process mapping solution that simplifies process management with intuitive, flexible, and customizable tools. IOZ's clients were able to implement simple solutions themselves and turn to IOZ for consulting on larger challenges. Internally, IOZ used Nintex Promapp® for a comprehensive review of all processes, reassigning processes to match staff responsibilities. The company identified and mapped 100 processes, reducing the total number to 42, a streamlining of 58%. This reassignment ensured that questions and action items were addressed to the right employees, leading to faster and more accurate responses. IOZ also used Nintex Promapp® to transition to a 100% remote working model during the pandemic, revising necessary processes for a swift and successful transition.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
