About The Customer
Vipii is designed for venue managers across various industries, including gyms, restaurants, and salons. These businesses often face the challenge of managing customer queues while adhering to social distancing guidelines. Additionally, they are also required to keep track of customer visits for contact tracing purposes. Vipii provides a solution to these challenges by offering a smart system that allows businesses to queue and contact trace customers remotely. The app is fully scalable, making it suitable for businesses of all sizes.
The Challenge
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about a new set of challenges for businesses, particularly those in the service industry such as restaurants, gyms, and salons. One of these challenges is managing customer queues while adhering to social distancing guidelines. Additionally, businesses are also required to keep track of customer visits for contact tracing purposes. This can be a daunting task, especially for businesses that see a high volume of customers daily. Vipii, founded by IT consultant Tracy Smith, was created to address these challenges. The app aims to provide a smart system that allows businesses to queue and contact trace customers remotely.
The Solution
Vipii is a waitlist management platform that enables businesses to line-up their customers remotely. It offers both automatic and manual control options. With automatic control, the app auto-calculates the venue's wait time and automatically sends a text message to customers when they are five minutes away from being up. On the other hand, manual control allows businesses to define customers' wait times and manually trigger text messages from their check-in dashboard. The app also allows businesses to easily provide contact trace notifications to customers about potential exposures within a specified date and time frame. Vipii was built using Bubble's no-code platform, which allowed for quick development and iteration of the platform.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
