关于客户
AIR Worldwide, a member of the Verisk Insurance Solutions group at Verisk Analytics, is a leading provider of catastrophe modeling software and consulting services. Founded in 1987, the company has been at the forefront of the catastrophe modeling industry, offering solutions that help users project possible outcomes and prepare for catastrophic risks. AIR Worldwide's software is used to model risks for events ranging from natural disasters to terrorism in over 90 countries. With more than 500 employees globally, the company continues to hire broadly, seeking top-notch talent to support their critical work. Headquartered in Boston, AIR Worldwide operates additional offices in North America, Europe, and Asia.
挑战
AIR Worldwide, a leader in catastrophe modeling software, faced significant challenges in recruiting highly specialized talent. Despite having a strong reputation within their niche industry, their location in Boston, where the unemployment rate for IT professionals is extremely low, made it difficult to attract the right candidates. The company needed a more effective way to market themselves, communicate with potential candidates, and integrate their international offices into the hiring process. They also required a user-friendly system with better metrics to streamline their recruitment efforts.
解决方案
To address their recruitment challenges, AIR Worldwide partnered with Jobvite, utilizing its platform which includes Jobvite Hire, Engage, and Refer. The company revamped their career site and began using Jobvite Engage to set up recruitment marketing campaigns and co-branded career pages. This allowed them to capture candidates' interest and maintain contact with them, expanding their talent pool for future roles. Jobvite Engage also enabled AIR Worldwide to build relationships with soon-to-be and recent graduates, moving away from a just-in-time hiring model to a more proactive approach. Additionally, AIR Worldwide leveraged Jobvite Refer to enhance their employee referral program, making it easier for employees to notify their friends about open positions through social media. Jobvite Hire was used as a front-end add-on to their corporate applicant tracking system (ATS), improving the look, feel, and ease-of-use of their careers page and application process.

Sawback IT and Datto Save Client From a Costly Mistake
Ballistic Echo, a software development house, faced a critical challenge when human error led to the deletion of thousands of lines of unique code. This incident occurred before the code was pushed to source control, resulting in significant loss of time, revenue, and work. The previous file-level backup solution they used was slow and inefficient, making it nearly impossible to manually recreate the lost work. The need for a more reliable and efficient business continuity solution became evident to avoid such disasters in the future.

Zapier Aggregates Multiple Analytics in a Single Dashboard with the New Relic Platform
Zapier, a company that enables non-technical users to push data between hundreds of web applications, was facing a challenge in automating and provisioning servers for optimal performance. The company's environment consisted of 50 Linux servers on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), a Django application split across several servers, and a backend consisting of a dynamic number of celery task workers fed by messages published to a RabbitMQ cluster. They also maintained a number of internal web services on nginx in front of Gunicorn and Node.js processes. Redis handled simple key and value stores, with logging handled by Graylog2 and ElasticSearch. However, they realized that no level of automation would be sufficient without an effective monitoring solution in place. They needed a tool that could provide immediate alerts when something was breaking and could be easily implemented into their environment.

Pipeline Insight Case Study: YARCDATA
YarcData faced challenges in determining the conversion rates of prospects into customers through various marketing efforts and identifying the source of its leads. They wanted to know the percentage of opportunities in the sales pipeline that came from different marketing events, web downloads, or self-sourced sales opportunities. Additionally, they needed the ability to drill down into the data to guide where to allocate more marketing dollars based on the success of previous efforts. Previously, YarcData relied heavily on spreadsheets and Salesforce.com reports, which made it difficult to extract the exact information they needed. This reliance on spreadsheets represented about 70% of their data presentation.
