Corridor Motors II, a small business in the automotive and transport industry, was facing significant challenges in reducing vehicle recovery time and quickly locating delinquent customers/vehicles. The company needed a solution that could help them overcome these challenges and improve their overall business operations. The inability to quickly locate delinquent customers and their vehicles was causing delays and inefficiencies in their operations. Furthermore, the extended vehicle recovery time was negatively impacting their business performance and profitability.
解决方案
Corridor Motors II decided to implement GoldStar, a leading GPS solution that provides insightful data analytics to make financing vehicles easier, less risky, and more profitable. GoldStar was installed on 76-100% of their vehicles, providing the company with tools for vehicle location, reference verification, easy recovery recourse, predictive default analytics, and payment collection. The solution's features such as Proactive Alerts, GeoFence Alerts, and Location Genie were found to be most beneficial to their business. These features enabled the company to significantly reduce delinquencies, increase vehicle sales, reduce vehicle recovery time, and extend credit to more buyers.

Integral Plant Maintenance
Mercedes-Benz and his partner GAZ chose Siemens to be its maintenance partner at a new engine plant in Yaroslavl, Russia. The new plant offers a capacity to manufacture diesel engines for the Russian market, for locally produced Sprinter Classic. In addition to engines for the local market, the Yaroslavl plant will also produce spare parts. Mercedes-Benz Russia and his partner needed a service partner in order to ensure the operation of these lines in a maintenance partnership arrangement. The challenges included coordinating the entire maintenance management operation, in particular inspections, corrective and predictive maintenance activities, and the optimizing spare parts management. Siemens developed a customized maintenance solution that includes all electronic and mechanical maintenance activities (Integral Plant Maintenance).
