关于客户
Hostnet Brazil is one of the top web hosts in Brazil, serving over 50,000 customers. The company focuses on tools based on open-source software and constantly looks for ways to develop solutions at an affordable cost for its clients. Their goal is to provide users with the most advanced technology, simplifying the way websites are created and popularizing cyber security. The company is committed to providing customers with the most effective way to host sites on the Internet.
挑战
Hostnet Brazil, one of the top web hosts in Brazil, was facing increasingly sophisticated cybersecurity threats, ranging from excessive bot crawling to distributed denial-of-service attacks (DDoS). The company was looking for a solution that could provide a more resilient hosting environment. They were previously using Amazon’s CloudFront, but they needed a solution that could offer integrated performance and security solutions to protect their platform and make it future-proof.
解决方案
Hostnet Brazil selected Cloudflare to provide a more resilient hosting environment. Cloudflare’s globally distributed network with 36 data centers, including five in Latin America, helped Hostnet customers’ sites benefit from 2x faster load times on average. For more sophisticated performance features, Hostnet implemented Railgun™, Cloudflare’s dynamic content accelerator. Cloudflare powered sites on Hostnet Brazil enjoy 51% bandwidth savings, decreasing the monthly variable bandwidth bill of the client sites. Hostnet utilizes a Cloudflare “default on” mode, which enables Cloudflare across all domains automatically.

Vodafone Hosted On AWS
Vodafone found that traffic for the applications peak during the four-month period when the international cricket season is at its height in Australia. During the 2011/2012 cricket season, 700,000 consumers downloaded the Cricket Live Australia application. Vodafone needed to be able to meet customer demand, but didn’t want to invest in additional resources that would be underutilized during cricket’s off-season.
