挑战
The Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team faces significant cybersecurity challenges due to its high-profile status in the global racing industry. The team generates vast amounts of data, which are crucial for performance but also make them a target for digital adversaries. Protecting intellectual property and ensuring data security are paramount, especially given the team's mobility, as they participate in events across more than 20 countries annually. The need for speed in both racing and data processing adds to the complexity, requiring a robust and efficient cybersecurity solution that can keep up with the fast-paced environment of Formula One.

Integral Plant Maintenance
Mercedes-Benz and his partner GAZ chose Siemens to be its maintenance partner at a new engine plant in Yaroslavl, Russia. The new plant offers a capacity to manufacture diesel engines for the Russian market, for locally produced Sprinter Classic. In addition to engines for the local market, the Yaroslavl plant will also produce spare parts. Mercedes-Benz Russia and his partner needed a service partner in order to ensure the operation of these lines in a maintenance partnership arrangement. The challenges included coordinating the entire maintenance management operation, in particular inspections, corrective and predictive maintenance activities, and the optimizing spare parts management. Siemens developed a customized maintenance solution that includes all electronic and mechanical maintenance activities (Integral Plant Maintenance).
