挑战
Glanbia, a global leader in nutrition based in Ireland, has been expanding its product offerings and acquiring new plants. However, this rapid growth has presented operational challenges, particularly in standardising processes and data collection across different regions. Prior to implementing Intelex, Glanbia relied on local-site or business-level processes, primarily using MS Excel, which lacked standardisation. Collecting and aggregating data was a difficult and effort-intensive task, and the reliability of the data was not always strong, often requiring further time and effort to check and validate it before further use.
解决方案
Glanbia selected Intelex as the EHS platform for its Glanbia Performance Nutrition business in the United States, which helped improve its data processes. The system allowed for data collection standardisation at scale and helped build data integrity into their processes. Following this implementation, Glanbia Nutritionals saw the potential for Intelex to bring similar improvements to its operations in the United States and adopted it to support EHS operations and select Quality operations. Glanbia uses a broad selection of Intelex desktop modules to support its EHSQ practices, including Incident Management, Inspections, Sustainability Performance Indicators for EHS, and Inspection Management, Nonconformances, and Audit Management for Quality. The Incident Management module plays a particularly critical role in Glanbia’s EHSQ practice, allowing them to get closer to real-time information on incidents of various types that occur in their plant locations and channel those into workflows, notifications, reports, and dashboards.

HEINEKEN Uses the Cloud to Reach 10.5 Million Consumers
For 2012 campaign, the Bond promotion, it planned to launch the campaign at the same time everywhere on the planet. That created unprecedented challenges for HEINEKEN—nowhere more so than in its technology operation. The primary digital content for the campaign was a 100-megabyte movie that had to play flawlessly for millions of viewers worldwide. After all, Bond never fails. No one was going to tolerate a technology failure that might bruise his brand.Previously, HEINEKEN had supported digital media at its outsourced datacenter. But that datacenter lacked the computing resources HEINEKEN needed, and building them—especially to support peak traffic that would total millions of simultaneous hits—would have been both time-consuming and expensive. Nor would it have provided the geographic reach that HEINEKEN needed to minimize latency worldwide.
